What this script does is count how many "email" addresses are in a specific file you name in the $file area.

Simply put the full unix path and name of script and it will count the email addresses.

This script uses SSI.  (server side includes)

You will need to rename your page that displays this:  .shtm  or .shtml

Put this little bit of code on the pages you want the count to be displayed on:

<!--#exec cgi="/cgi-local/emails.cgi"-->

make sure it points the the emails.cgi script!

And thats it.  When you load the .shtm or .shtml page with that code inserted it will goto the file you specified in the emails.cgi and count the email addresses.
